How big is the GTA 6 map?
Rockstar has not published an official size. Community reconstructions based on the trailers estimate the land area of Leonida at roughly 1.5 to 2 times the size of GTA V's map. The exact size will be known after the game launches on November 19, 2026.
What are the main regions of Leonida?
Leonida is GTA 6's version of Florida. The regions shown so far include Vice City and Vice Beach, the Leonida Keys, Grassrivers, Port Gellhorn, Ambrosia and Mount Kalaga National Park. This map currently lists 34 regions and towns.
Is this the official GTA 6 map?
No. This is an independent fan map. Before launch it uses the community-made YANIS map and landmark data from gtadb.org, built from official trailers and screenshots. Every location shows an accuracy label so you can see what is confirmed and what is still an estimate.
When will the map be updated after launch?
Updates start on launch day, November 19, 2026. Locations are checked against in-game evidence and moved, renamed or added as they are confirmed. Your saved progress is kept, because every location keeps a stable ID.
Do I need an account to track my progress?
No. Visited locations, favourites, notes, private pins and multiple playthrough profiles are saved in your browser for free. Export a backup file before clearing your browser data or switching devices.
